Today is the ultimate challenge of the expedition and undoubtedly the most demanding stage of the tour. Leaving Cao Bang at first light, you'll embark on an epic journey across some of the most spectacular landscapes in northern Vietnam.

The route traverses remote mountain valleys, ethnic minority villages, and a seemingly endless succession of climbs and descents as you ride through the rugged frontier between Cao Bang and Ha Giang provinces. Passing through the mountain town of Bao Lac, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic as towering limestone peaks rise above deep valleys and winding mountain roads.

The grand finale comes with the ascent of the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, widely regarded as Vietnam's most breathtaking mountain road. Perched high above the emerald waters of the Nho Que River, the pass offers unforgettable views across the UNESCO Global Geopark of Dong Van Karst Plateau. Today's ride is one of the highlights of the expedition. Climb into the UNESCO Global Geopark of Dong Van Karst Plateau, where dramatic limestone formations, deep valleys, and remote ethnic villages create one of Southeast Asia's most extraordinary landscapes. Rewarding climbs and breathtaking scenery lead you to the historic town of Dong Van.
